So this surgery:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

went quite well today. They didn't acidentally fuck anything up. I can move everything just fine. Still a bit woozy, and in a little pain, but that's acceptable. They put me in the old wing which made me :(, but they also put me in solitary :), yeah no pesky roommate to deal with.

Edit: I can see the Alpsfrom my room. That why I took this pic and added. Yeah, definitely still a bit wonky in the head.

I have a terrifying fear of things going into bones, particularly metal things.

That's good man. I went under the knife earlier this year. I was only in there a few hours though.

Falling down stairs is ridiculous, that's how I dislocated my knee the first time.

Thankfully, the surgery was successful. I'm sure you're glad that part is behind you.

Very Colin Chapman of you.

I went under the knife in January this year for rather... unpleasant reasons. Been there, done that. I wish you a speedy recovery, my friend.

an opponaut in for surgery, I'm pretty sure this means you get to pick a theme for today, so what's your bait so we might flood oppo with it?

Thanks man, but I'm not a big fan of theme days, as you might know. Just Honda or two...

Speaking of which, I should find out what these wheels are, as the picture implies, they would look good on my car. At least high as a kite me thinks that.

Glad things went well. Nice view!

How long are you staying in the Hospital?

Friend of mine had a very similar screw setup on his leg, except it was due to a motorcycle crash. Spent a couple of weeks on a wheelchair, then crank started an old Hanomag. The Hanomag threw the crank as it started and guess where it landed. He spent another week on the wheelchair after that. So... don't do stupid things on the free time you have while recovering!

He lives near the alps, too.

no idea what those are, but kinda similar in design is the wheels available on the EP3 civic, which I personally think to be the nicest wheel honda has made (I have a set), would look pretty tasty on your ride :D

Came in a 5x114 lug pattern on the EP3, 17 inch; and in a 4x100 lug pattern in a 16 inch on the Honda Fit and Civic as an optional wheel through Honda Factory Performance catalog.
